AMD3 screw paste pump with ceramic nozzle

  • This screw type metering dispenser pump eliminates diameter and line variations often created by conventional piston and cylinder systems.

The pump accepts virtually any motor and driver which the user chooses. This is a strong advantage for a user familiarized with their current equipment. Since dot size or line width and length are dependent of screw revolution, the driver software chosen by the user will easily achieve any desired material dispensing size.

The AMD3 is the ideal choice for solder paste, UV cured adhesives and other particle suspensions requiring exact volume dispensing.

Simplification of both operation and maintenance is one of the many features our AMD3 pump has to offer.

  • No tool is required to assemble/dissasemble the pump. The tool-less design minimizes cleaning time, thus decreasing machine downtime.

  • No feed back system is required for operating the pump, thus eliminating sophisticated software and control. A simple initial setup will be enough to achieve consistent results.

  • No feed back system gives a user more flexible choice of motor and accessories

  • Full range of screw specification including; single or multiple helix and pitch/groove depth offers a wider range of dispensing volume.

  • Field proven design ensures reliable production throughout the life of the pump

Questions and answers:

What is the minimum dispensing amount:

There is no min. limitation as to what amount the pump can dispense, i.e., 0.06mg, 0.02mg, 0.003mg....etc all depends on how the pump being controlled, probably better to say by the limitation of a motor encoder performance and its programming.   The smallest amount we have experienced was 0.06mg of solder paste, 0.04mg of epoxy.  All done well.

What is the precision of the pump:
Dispensing precision is a consistency of dispense.  From the beginning to the end, dispense deviation is about 0.5~0.6% with proper setting and use of a ceramic nozzle. We have achieve this with solder paste. But for some other material (high viscosity and/or uneven mix of material with heavy fillers etc), variation may go up to 10~15%.  Competitor's dispenser will show much much worse variations.
